Urijah Faber Gets Hit by Car Just After Arriving for UFC Fight Night in Singapore

Urijah Faber barely had a chance to step off his plane before his foot was being run over by a car upon his arrival in Singapore.

Urijah Faber doesn’t seem to have much luck when he travels overseas.

The former WEC champion once engaged in a vicious street brawl in Indonesia and suffered a loss to Frankie Edgar when fighting in the Philippines. Now Faber can add Singapore to his list of destinations where something crazy has happened when he’s traveling across the globe.

After arriving in Singapore this week to corner his teammate Teruto Ishihara, who is competing at UFC Fight Night on Saturday, Faber revealed that his foot was run over by a car.

“Warm welcome to Singapore, first day here and get run over by the only car in the road,” Faber wrote on Instagram with a video showing off his damaged foot.

By the look of things, Faber’s foot didn’t get too badly hurt but don’t be surprised if he’s limping to the Octagon on Saturday to corner Ishihara.

Ishihara will be competing in the featured preliminary bout on the card as he takes on highly touted Russian newcomer Petr Yan.
