JON JONES MOCKS ISRAEL ADESANYA’S TITLE DEFENSE!
Jon Jones may not be fighting in the Octagon any time soon, but he’s still using social media to make his presence felt at every major UFC event. On UFC 263’s fight night, “Bones” began by praising new flyweight champion Brandon Moreno for his spectacular victory over Deiveson Figueiredo before taking jabs at middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
Congratulations #Mexico you did it ?? You have yourself a #UFC champion

After Israel Adesanya blanked Marvin Vettori on the scorecards during their UFC 263 main event bout, no congratulations were offered. Jones, on the other hand, focused on how far ahead of Adesanya he was in terms of title defenses, with 14 to Izzy’s 5.
I better hurry up and get back in there, they’re starting to catch up ? pic.twitter.com/969HZl6P6i

Jones’ potential UFC heavyweight run isn’t worth much discussion until he and UFC President Dana White reach an agreement where White isn’t explicitly indicating Jones will never compete again. But that didn’t stop “Bones” from stating that before riding off into the sunset, he’d shoot for a nice round 20 title defense number.
Only God knows what this heavyweight journey is going to look like. I’ve always had this thing where I wanted to win 20 championships. I’m taking zero damage and getting better every day, future Bones business will be nuts – Jones wrote on Twitter.
