Yoel Romero vs. David Branch Set for UFC on FOX 28 in Orlando

The upcoming UFC card in Orland just landed a huge middleweight fight.

Former middleweight title contender Yoel Romero will get back in action on Feb. 24 when he faces off with David Branch at UFC on FOX 28 from Orlando.

UFC officials confirmed the matchup on Friday via the Orlando Sentinel.

Romero (12-2) has complained since his loss to middleweight champion Robert Whittaker back in July that no top fighters were willing to face him but that’s when Branch actually asked the UFC for the opportunity.

Branch (21-4) is coming off a tough loss to former champion Luke Rockhold but he welcomed the chance to face Romero and now the two middleweights will do battle in Feb.

Romero vs. Branch is the latest addition to a growing card in Orlando with more fights still to be determined including a main event for the card that will air live on FOX.
