Watch Francis Ngannou Set The Record For The Hardest Punch Ever Measured
Francis Ngannou has been working hard for months down at the UFC’s new Performance Institute in Las Vegas and “The Predator” is fast building himself into one of the most feared men in the world.
The Cameroonian-French fighter takes on Alistair Overeem at UFC 218 next weekend in what will be the biggest fight of his career. With five wins already under his belt in the UFC, Ngannou is within touching distance of a title shot and a win against Overeem on Dec. 2 would certainly put him right amongst the top of the division.
With Ngannou making his way to Detroit in just a few days time, the UFC today released footage on social media showcasing the incredible strength of both his overhand right and his devastating uppercut that has already accounted for the likes of Luis Henrique under the UFC banner.
The video shows Ngannou recording a punching power of just over 129 units. This beat the previous record set by kickboxer Tyrone Sponge who measured at 114.
