Vitor Belfort Calls Out Michael Bisping To Accept Fight Against Him at UFC in London

Vitor Belfort wants his final fight to come against Michael Bisping at UFC in London

Vitor Belfort is ready to step into enemy territory for his final fight.

Following a disappointing end to his planned retirement fight last week after opponent Uriah Hall had to be pulled from the card due to a weight cutting mishap, Belfort was hoping to book a new matchup that would serve as the last of his career.

Now it appears Belfort has been offered and accepted a showdown with Michael Bisping at the upcoming UFC Fight Night card in London and he’s just waiting on a response from the former champion.

“Bisping stop finding excuses. UFC had offered us Belfort vs Bisping 2 and I said yes,” Belfort wrote on Instagram.

“I will fight you in your hometown. How about that? Let’s make an amazing show for all the fans around the the world and retire in great fashion.”

Bisping has not responded for comment regarding the fight offer to face Belfort.

Belfort earned a vicious second round TKO against Bisping back in 2013 in their first meeting after the Brazilian blasted the Brit with a head kick followed up by punches on the ground to finish the fight.

Bisping held a grudge against Belfort ever since that fight thanks to the 40-year old Brazilian using testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at the time of their matchup, which was still legal at the time. TRT was eventually outlawed in mixed martial arts.

It remains to be seen if this fight comes together although Bisping has said he would like for the final bout of his career to take place in England. It’s just unknown if he has any interest in facing Belfort in a rematch for the last fight of his career.
