Video: See the whole fight between Khamzat Chimaev & Gerald Meerschaert
While the main event at UFC Vegas 11 certainly and rightfully was the biggest fight on the card, there was an undefeated Swede that snatched up many of the headlines. Red-hot, rising star Khamzat Chimaev faced middleweight staple Gerald Meerschaert on the main card, and now the full fight is out on video.
Chimaev won two fights in the UFC in just ten days, and was looking to score a record in the modern UFC era by winning three fights in the span of 66 days. That goal would end u being easier than many expected, as Chimaev needed just 17 seconds to end the fight and line up his third straight UFC win.

Chimaev utterly dominated John Phillips en route to a second round submission victory in his UFC debut. He then TKO’d Rhys McKee in the first round less than two weeks later. Following the win over Meerschart, Chimaev was set up to face two-time title challenger Demian Maia. However, UFC president Dana White has stated that the promotion may very well set up another fight for Chimaev before the tentatively planned bout with Maia.
