Gilbert Burns Returns to the Octagon

This weekend, top-ranked welterweight Gilbert Burns will make his long-awaited return to the Octagon. The Brazilian fighter is set to take on UFC talent Sean Brady at UFC Vegas 97. Burns is coming off two consecutive losses against Jack Della Maddalena and current UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad. Jorge Masvidal’s Post-UFC Career and Future Plans

Following his loss to Burns at UFC 287, Jorge Masvidal parted ways with the world’s leading MMA organization. Shortly thereafter, Masvidal stepped into the boxing ring against MMA star Nate Diaz, suffering a unanimous decision loss. Earlier this week, Masvidal spoke out about a potential UFC comeback. The 39-year-old expressed his interest in fighting top lightweight contender Michael Chandler at UFC 310 in December.
