(Video) Watch Cian Cowley Destroy Hardeep Rai With Leg Kicks To Score First Round TKO At BRAVE 18

SBG Ireland’s Cian Cowley took his record to 2-1 with an impressive first round stoppage of Hardeep Rai this evening.

The bout was the feature prelim on BRACE FC 18 which took place in Manama, Bahrain.

Cowley, who last fought in June at BRAVE 13, took the initiative from the outset and pressured forward using some leg kicks to chop down the lead leg of the Englishman.

Rai tried to respond with counter overhand rights and had success landing one flush in the first minute, but Cowley remained unperturbed and continued to push Rai on the back foot as he continued his assault with thudding kicks to Rai’s left leg.

With 90-seconds left in the first round, Cowley scored three flush leg kicks and Rai fell to the the mat near the cage. Cowley then finished the fight with some well-timed elbows and punches in mount after referee Marc Goddard waved the fight off with Rai unable to defend the position.

Cowley now has two wins on the bounce under the BRAVE CF banner.

His teammate Lee Hammond, who cornered him alongside SBG coach John Kavanagh this evening, will go for gold tomorrow in the lightweight bracket of the IMMAF World Mixed Martial Arts Amateur Competition.
