(Video) Watch Brad Pickett Gift A Cage Warriors Belt To Former Champion Nathaniel Wood Ahead Of His UFC Debut

Here's a feel good moment involving a UFC legend Brad Pickett and one of the UFC's newest signings Nathaniel Wood.

It’s bank holiday weekend here in the UK and with the sun shining on the majority of the country, there’s a feel good feeling in the air.

There’s no UFC fight card this week, but come UFC 224 next weekend we have a long stretch of cards including UFC Utica which goes down on June 1.

On that fight card, former Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Nathaniel Wood (13-3) will be making his UFC debut when he faces Johnny Eduardo on the UFC Fight Pass prelims portion of the show.

Wood will turn 25-years-old in just 3 days, but last evening his coach and mentor Brad “One Punch” Pickett gave him a very special present, a replica Cage Warriors title.

The Londoner won the Cage Warriors 135-pounds strap back in June last year when he defeated Marko Kovacevic for the vacant belt. He then went on to defend the title twice with wins over Josh Reed and Luca Iovine, but just last month he put pen to paper with the UFC and thus left the organization before he could get the opportunity to defend his title three times and defend the belt.

Well like any good friend, Pickett couldn’t let him end his Cage Warriors run without having something to remember it by. Watch the video below as the former WEC and UFC veteran gifts Wood a replica title belt and leaves Wood lost words.

As an early birthday present I gave @theprospectmma a @cagewarriors belt as he wasn’t able to keep his and thought he would never have one ??Thanks to @chrisclarkemma for helping me make this happen ??
