[Video] UFC 220 Weigh-In Highlights: All Fighters Hit The Mark In Boston
There was a distinct lack of drama at the UFC 220 weigh-ins this morning as all fighters hit the mark at the fighter hotel in Boston.
The UFC heavyweight title fight was confirmed when Stipe Miocic weighed in at 246-pounds for the third fight running, while his challenger on Saturday night Francis Ngannou clocked in at 263-pounds.
Things were a little more tense in regards to the UFC light heavyweight title. Volkan Oezdemir looked to hit 205-pounds comfortably, but a very drawn out and anxious looking Daniel Cormier was the last man to step up on the scales and thankfully he was also 205-pounds on the dot…. no towel grabbing necessary this time.
Elsewhere, everything was pretty straight forward. Gian Villante’s comedy as on the scales is worth watching if you didn’t see it live. He was cheered on by his coach Chris Weidman before and after hitting 206-pounds.
