VIDEO: Paddy Pimblett eats “EVERYTHING” at Conor McGregor’s pub!
Paddy Pimblett visited Conor McGregor’s pub, The Black Forge Inn, recently and had a chat with the super star himself!
“The Baddy” Pimblett is currently on a five fight win streak with three straight finishes since his UFC debut last year. When he’s not stuck in training camp, the Liverpudlian is a proud foodie with a tendency to blow up in weight between fights – a habit he has no plans of changing any time soon, at least not until he starts facing ranked opponents. “The Baddy” maintains that he would rather be fat and happy than ripped and miserable!
In a new video on his YouTube channel the UFC star headed to McGregor’s pub in Dublin to “eat everything.” While eating, he received a phone call from none other than “The Notorious” himself, who couldn’t believe Pimblett’s ability to put on the pounds!
“You’re already putting all that weight on again, lad,” McGregor told Pimblett. “It’s crazy because your face is way different straight away!”
“Yeah, I’m back up to (191 lbs) already, lad,” Pimblett replied.
“The Baddy” enjoyed his time at the Irishman’s pub, and rated the food over nine stars out of ten!
Pimblett has previously been criticised for his extreme weight cuts by many, including UFC president Dana White and UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski. The 27-year-old began his career as a bantamweight, but competes at lightweight today, weighing in at 155 lbs during weigh-ins. Currently, he weighs a whopping 191 lbs, and has been known to hit over 200 on the scale after his fights!
McGregor and Pimblett seemed to get along well during the video, but despite what they may think of each other outside of the octagon, Pimblett hopes to face off against the Irishman some day. It’s a fight that Pimblett believes would beat any and all PPV records!
For McGregor, the last few years have not been successful, at least in terms of wins and losses. The former double champion has two back-to-back defeats against Dustin Poirier, and is currently recovering from last year’s leg break. Whether he returns to lightweight or welterweight isn’t clear just yet, but the UFC star has hinted at a comeback coming sometime soon!
