UFC Searching for Undefeated Fighters for ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ Season 27

The search is underway for the next installment of "The Ultimate Fighter"

The hunt is on for the best undefeated fighters at featherweight, lightweight and welterweight for the next installment of “The Ultimate Fighter”.

On Thursday, the UFC announced plans for tryouts for season 27 of the long running reality show, which will be titled “The Ultimate Fighter: Battle of the Undefeated”.

Tryouts for the new season will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at the Palace Station in Las Vegas for men in the 145, 155 and 170-pound weight divisions.

Filming for the new season of “The Ultimate Fighter” will begin in January with a spring debut date likely on FS1.

Fighters looking to tryout must have at least three professional fights on their records.

“For those wishing to attend the tryouts, you must complete an application online at http://www.ufc.com/TUF27 and bring the completed form to the tryouts. Fighters trying out will be required to grapple and hit pads and must bring the appropriate gear to do so. Applicants will be notified at the end of the day if they have been selected to move on in the casting process. If selected, applicants must be prepared to stay in Las Vegas until Saturday, December 16.”

“The Ultimate Fighter” 26 is currently wrapping up with two final episodes that will then determine the participants for the first ever women’s flyweight title fight in December.
