UFC Sao Paolo results: Jan Blachowicz edges out ”Jacare”, calls out Jon Jones!
The UFC returned to Sau Paolo, Brazil last night with an interesting fight card capped off with two light heavyweight bouts featuring local legends. Now the full results for UFC Sao Paolo are in, and unfortunately the two featured bouts left much to be desired.
Polish powerhouse Jan Blachowicz welcomed long time Brazilian veteran Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza to the light heavyweight division in the main event. It was a more technical and less explosive affair than many had expected and hoped for ending up in a split decision win for Blachowicz. After the bout the Polish light heavyweight called for a title shot against reigning champion Jon Jones.

The co-main event pitted Brazilian legend Mauricio “Shogun” Rua against Scotland’s Paul Craig. While more action-packed than the main event, the result left many fans with a sour taste in their mouth. Craig opened strongly in the first round with “Shogun” coming on in the later two rounds.
