UFC Auckland results: Dan Hooker edges out Paul Felder – Who talks retirement
The UFC returned to New Zealand this weekend with UFC Auckland, now the full results are in. The main event was a lightweight battle with heat behind it, as Paul Felder came from the USA to face hometown hero Dan Hooker. As many had predicted, the fight was brutal, bloody and went the distance. Both fighters had their moments, with the momentum swinging back and forth. While it seemed like Felder had found the distance in the later rounds, Hooker capped off the fight with a takedown. The fight went to the judges scorecards with Hooker slightly edging out Felder with 48-47, 47-48, 48-47 scoring.
After the fight, an emotional Felder alluded to a possible retirement following the loss.
