UFC 277: Peña Vs Nunes – Fight Card, Stream and Betting Info

This Saturday, it’s finally time for UFC 277: Peña vs. Nunes II. The event takes place at the American Airlines Center arena in Dallas, Texas.

UFC bantamweight champion Julianna Peña (11-4 MMA, 7-2 UFC) puts her title on the line for the first time ever when she takes on the former champion Amanda Nunes (21-5 MMA, 14-2 UFC). Peña shocked the world last December when she beat and chocked out Nunes via rear naked choke. The victory has been described as one of the biggest upsets in UFC history. Prior to the loss, Nunes had not lost a match since 2014 and had 12 straight wins which included nine straight title bouts.

In the co-main event, former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno (19-6-2 MMA, 7-3-2 UFC) will take on Kai Kara-France (24-9 MMA, 7-2 UFC) for the vacant flyweight belt. The two flyweights met again in 2019, a match that the Mexican won via unanimous decision. Moreno lost his belt to the current champion Deivesion Figueiredo earlier this year. Since the loss against Moreno, Kara-France has won four fights and lost one. He most recently defeated former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt via brutal knockout at UFC 245.

In addition to the title bouts, the event is stacked with exciting fights. Fan favorite Derrick Lewis makes his return to the UFC Octagon after a knockout loss to Tai Tuivasa at UFC 271. The heavyweight takes on Russian talent Sergei Pavlovich. Former light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith faces Magomed Ankalaev in the first bout of the main card, the winner of which will likely fight for the light heavyweight title next.
