UFC 274: Oliveira Vs Gaethje

It’s time!!! to start counting down the days ahead of UFC 274: Oliveira vs Gaethje which kicks off on May 7th in Phoenix, Arizona!

UFC 274 will offer two title fights and lots of exciting fights on this stacked card. In the main event, lightweight champion Charles Oliveira will once again defend his belt as he takes on top-ranked Justin Gaethje!

Oliveira has a winning streak of ten straight wins and was last seen in the octagon in December last year when he finished Dustin Poirier in the third round. Now he meets Gaethje who will once again have the chance to get his hands on the UFC title. “The Highlight” Gaethje aims to follow up one of last year’s best fights where he defeated Michael Chandler via unanimous decision in November.

In the co-main event, we see Rose Namajunas take on an old rival in the form of the former champion Carla Esparza. Namajunas and Esparza met already back in December 2014 in a battle for the strawweight title and then Esparza won via submission in the third round. Since then, a lot of time has passed and both fighters have developed significantly, which makes this strawweight battle an exciting fight for the title!

In addition to the two title fights, we also see many more interesting matchups! On the main card we get to see a real veteran fight when Donald Cerrone takes on Joe Lauzon and the fan favorite Tony Ferguson makes a long-awaited comeback when he meets the aforementioned Chandler!
