UFC 272: COVINGTON VS. MASVIDAL - FIGHT CARD, INFO & STREAMING

Saturday, March 5, it’s time for UFC 272: Covington vs. Masvidal which will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada and take place in the T-Mobile Arena.

In the main event we get to see a grudge fight between the former training mates Colby Covington and Jorge “Game bred” Masvidal. Both trained together at the American Top Team gym, former roommates, but after Covington chose to leave the team, a conflict has recently arisen between the two that has led to threats and personal attacks.

“Chaos” Covington is ranked first place in the welterweight division after the champion Kamaru Usman. We find Masvidal in sixth place and both his and Covington’s most recent appearances in the Octagon were against Usman who has won two fights against each fighter.

UFC 272 is packed with interesting matches!

In the co-main event, former champion Rafael dos Anjos will face Renato Moicano. It was initially thought that dos Anjos would meet Rafael Fiziev, but the bout was canceled after Fiziev tested positive for covid. Islam Makhachev said he was willing to replace but after fuss on social media, the slot finally went on Moicano.

We also get to see a featherweight fight between Edson Barboza and undefeated Bryce Mitchell as well as an interesting welterweight bout between Kevin Holland and Alex Oliveira.
The main card begins with an explosive heavyweight fight where Sergey Spivak will take on Greg Hardy.
