Twitter reacts to UFC champion Aljamain Sterling’s friendship with Andrew Tate!
UFC fans were outraged following bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling’s defence of the controversial brothers Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate on Twitter.
Former kickboxer Andrew Tate went from relatively unknown to internationally notorious in the blink of an eye, primarily due to his controversial opinions on women. Tate prefers to call members of the opposite sex “females,” and has previously described himself as being misogynistic.
“If I have responsibility over her, then I must have a degree of authority,” Tate said in a YouTube video. “You can’t be responsible for a dog if it doesn’t obey you.”
As a result of his reprehensible and extreme views, Tate has been banned from TikTok, where videos in which he features have garnered over a billion views. In the past couple of years an almost cultlike following has emerged around him, despite the fact that he’s on record as saying such things as having moved to Romania because it’s easier to get away with sexual assault in the country.
Considering the drama surrounding the Tate brothers lately, it should come as no surprise that Sterling’s latest update on Twitter led to some shocked reactions from fans.
“Top G’s never die! Good chopping it up with you fellas.”

The bantamweight champion was quick to respond to disappointed fans in the comments.
“You know that shit is fake right?” Sterling replied to one fan. “The information is literally out there or y’all can keep listening to the painted narrative that’s much easier to digest. I dug into and was relieved that they aren’t actually shit people. And no, not everything they’ve said, I agree with.”

“If you truly believe that about him and his brother, then just like the covid stuff you mentioned, that’s being easily brainwashed. But I respect your opinion.”

I’ve followed ur career since regional MMA. I’ve bought ur merch, sold ur tickets & advocated on your behalf. We’ve disagreed on COVID and yet I’m proud to support a fellow NYer. You “hanging” w/ someone whose values include misogyny & disbelief in mental health is disappointing.
