The UFC Star Shows His Demolished Face – After Five Hard Rounds!
Top-ranked Calvin Kattar and Giga Chikadze displayed a violent main event fight when they clashed together during this year’s first UFC event.
The two athletes fought bravely in five rounds but Kattar were always in control. He was also close to finishing Chikadze at the end of the bout, but it was ultimately the referees who had to decide the featherweight fight outcome.
All judges gave all five rounds to Kattar and shortly after the result was read out, both fighters were transported to the hospital. Once there, they took a selfie that Chikadze shared on social media and expressed respect for his opponent.

This weekend’s fight was Kattar’s return to the Octagon after almost exactly one year. On January 15, 2021, he lost an extremely tough main event fight against former UFC champion Max Holloway.
“The Boston Finisher” Kattar is ranked fifth in the UFC’s official rankings and can secure a title chance with another impressive win against the top tier fighters.
Chikadze is back in eighth place and lost for the first time in the UFC. He previously had a winning streak of nine straight wins and had last year finished UFC veterans Cub Swanson and Edson Barboza.
