Eubanks punched her ticket to the title fight in the final episode of “The Ultimate Fighter” for this season as the No. 12 overall seed defeated veteran fighter Roxanne Modafferi, who was ranked No. 1 overall going into the show.
Meanwhile, Montano was actually ranked No. 14 overall and she had to go through former Invicta FC champion Barb Honchak as the No. 2 seed last week to earn her spot in the live finale.
With three wins a piece in the tournament, Eubanks and Montano definitely had to fight their way to earn the title shot but now one of them will be crowned the first ever women’s champion at 125 pounds in the UFC.
