It seems that not even a world-wide pandemic can stop the UFC. Against all odds, UFC president Dana White has worked tirelessly to set things in motion so that the promotion will be able to hold events. As of now there are four events planned, with the last on June 6th, lacking a location and booked fights. For the remaining UFC events, however, there are full or at least partial fight cards announced.
UFC 249, taking place in Jacksonville, Florida on May 9th, is topped off by an interim title fight between Tony Ferrguson and Justin Gaethje. The event also features a bantamweight title fight between reigning champ Henry Cejudo and former champion Dominick Cruz. The stacked card features several other high-profile bouts, including a heavyweight battle between Francis Ngannou vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik, and a rematch between Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Anthony Pettis.

UFC Fight Night 175 on May 13th, is headlined by light heavyweights and former title challengers Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira. Just three days later UFC Fight Night 176 goes down, with Alistair Overeem vs Walt Harris set as the main event.
