Sean Strickland has taken to social media to voice his frustrations, indicating that Paulo Costa might not have signed the fight contract yet. In a video titled “Has Costa Pulled Out?” Strickland didn’t mince words about his opponent, questioning Costa’s willingness to face him in the octagon.
Strickland’s Rant:
“F*ck, Costa. I heard you haven’t signed the contract yet,” Strickland said. “I didn’t believe it at first. I thought you weren’t going to act like a coward. I thought you would man up. Instead, you act like you’ve got ovaries. I checked Google, did the right things, gave you the benefit of the doubt. Since your fight with Izzy, it’s been downhill. Deep waters. I don’t know what happened in that tiny pea brain of yours.”
“Do we need to get someone for you to talk to? Sit down with you and get you to talk about your damn feelings? I think therapy is for weak men. Let me tell you something, boy. You are a weak damn man. If you can’t pull yourself together and make this happen, we’ll find someone for you to talk to. Don’t disappoint me. Don’t disappoint the fans. I want to make you bleed.”

Costa’s Response:
Despite Strickland’s heated words, UFC has not officially commented on the situation. However, Costa responded with a social media post displaying a document he described as the “contract” with his “signature” on it. This wouldn’t be the first time Costa has pulled out of a fight or caused issues for the UFC, citing mismatches between what is announced and his agreements.
