Scott Coker Reveals Bellator Are In Talks With BAMMA About Aaron Chalmers
Bellator 200 takes place in London on May 25 and a surprising name could be making his way onto the fight card, Aaron Chalmers.
The ex-Geordie Shore star made his professional MMA debut last year and recorded three stoppage victories under the BAMMA promotional banner.
Whilst his MMA career so far has been ridiculed by some in the MMA community, it appears that Bellator are interested in having him fight on their blockbuster Bellator 200 fight card coming up in May.
Speaking backstage last night at BAMMA 34, Coker revealed to MMANytt.com that Bellator are in talks with BAMMA CEO, David Green about letting Chalmers fight on their card.
“You know what, I think my guys are talking to David [Green] and so we will see,” Coker said.
“I don’t know at what level they’re talking, but you know, if it’s something David would let him fight or if he’s interested in fighting, you know he might be busy with David. Who knows.”
Bellator 200 is yet to have a headline bout announced, but will feature a Bellator middleweight title fight between Gegard Mousasi and Rafael Carvalho. The event will also see the return of Mirko Cro Cop who will fight Roy Nelson.
