Ronda Rousey Officially Books First Match in WWE at WrestleMania 34

Ronda Rousey has booked her first in ring match at WWE where she will team up with Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 34

Ronda Rousey is ready to make her first appearance in the ring as a WWE superstar.

On Monday night, Rousey was officially booked for her debut match, which will take place at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans on April 8.

The match will see Rousey team with fellow Olympian Kurt Angle in a “mixed tag match” against real life WWE executives Paul “Triple H” Levesque and his wife Stephanie McMahon.

The match was announced during “Monday Night Raw” where Rousey saw her first big of action in the ring as she picked up and slammed McMahon as part of her scripted altercation to set up the showdown at WrestleMania.

Expectations are high on Rousey considering she’s either led off or closed ‘Monday Night Raw’ for the past two weeks and the former UFC women’s champion has been confirmed to appear at every ‘Raw’ between now and WrestleMania in April.

Obviously WWE is betting big on Rousey’s superstardom to attract a lot of viewers for her match, which will be a marquee bout on the company’s biggest event of the year.

There won’t be as much pressure on Rousey to carry things, however, as she’s teaming up with an experienced pro like Angle, who will likely do the bulk of the work in the match to ease the former UFC fighter into her performances in the ring.
