Woman tackles robber at Best Buy – gets job & free tickets from the UFC
A brave employee at Best Buy in Hawaii changed her life in many ways when she decided to stop a robbery by tackling the criminal.
Not only did it get her fired from her job, she also simultaneously landed herself a job at the UFC and got free tickets to see Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone on January 18.
The whole thing started when a robber tried to leave Best Buy with an unpaid item. The woman, only known as “Summer,” did her best to tackle and stop the criminal. The two went into a scuffle before more people intervened and stopped the perpetrator.
UFC President Dana White saw the CCTV footage that showed the incident and shared it with his 5,2 million followers. The UFC boss promised to fly Summer to Las Vegas to see UFC 246, headlined by McGregor and Cerrone, but also said that she can expect a job offer from him:
“This is Summer. She stopped this punk from getting away with stealing from BestBuy in Hawaii. She got fired for this. Flying her in this weekend and giving her tickets to the McGregor vs Cowboy fight. I WANT HER TO WORK FOR ME! Get ready for the best weekend of your life Summer”
