Paddy Pimblett The Latest To Be Added To The Stacked Cage Warriors 100 Fight Card
Paddy Pimblett will return to action on Dec. 8 at Cage Warriors 100 when he takes on Donovan Desmae.
Pimblett (14-3) was last in action back at Cage Warriors 96 when he faced Soren Bak for the lightweight world title. The Liverpudlian came within touching distance of winning the bout in the first round after sinking in a deep rear-naked choke, but after the Dane miraciously fought out of the hold he went on to win the bout via a clear unanimous decision. Pimblett will now look to bounce back to winning ways when he faces the Belgian at the Ice Arena in Cardiff, Wales.
Desmae (11-4) has gone 2-2 under the Cage Warriors banner with victories over Aiden Lee and Richard Williams. The Belgian last fought back at Cage Warriors 94 in Antwerp when he was defeated by Hubert Geven following a doctor stoppage between the first and second round.
Pimblett vs Desmae joins a blockbuster fight card which will be headlined by Jack Shore and Mike Ekundayo battling it out for the Cage Warriors bantamweight world title. Aiden Lee will also face Dean Trueman for the vacant Cage Warriors fetherweight world title, whilst Nicolas Dalby will face Philip Mulpeter.
