ONE Championship Secure $166m Series D Investment To Finance Continued Growth
ONE Championship has announced that it has secured a further $166m investment following the closing of their series D financing round.
The announcement was made via press release which stated: “New investors, including Temasek, Greenoaks Capital, and other leading institutional investors, also participated in the round. ONE now has a total capital base that exceeds US$250 million. This equity investment further solidifies ONE’s dominant market leadership position in the sports media industry in Asia.”
According to Crunchbase.com, ONE Championship previously secured $100m in their series C financing round in July 2017.
Combined, the company has now raised £266m in investment.
ONE Championship also announced the full card for ONE: Pursuit of Greatness which will take place on Friday, 26 October, at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar. In the main event, reigning ONE Middleweight World Champion “The Burmese Python” Aung La N Sang of Myanmar will defend his title against Mohammad Karaki of Lebanon.
