Olympic Champion Kyle Snyder Willing to Help Conor McGregor Prepare for Khabib Nurmagomedov

Olympic gold medalist and two time World Champion Kyle Snyder extends an offer of help to Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor may have to face Khabib Nurmagomedov one day in the future but if he does he just received an offer from arguably the best wrestler in the world to help him get ready.

On Thursday, Olympic gold medalist, two-time World Champion and two-time NCAA champion wrestler Kyle Snyder extended an offer of help to get McGregor ready should he ever face Nurmagomedov in the UFC.

“If you are ever going to fight Khabib, let me know,” Snyder wrote in a message to McGregor on Twitter. “We can work on techniques to defend all of his takedown attempts. Best of luck.”

It’s not likely McGregor could receive a better offer than working with Snyder should he ever face Nurmagomedov in the UFC.

Snyder is an offensive machine with one of the most explosive takedowns in the sport and he’s dominated the competition internationally including several wins over high profile Russian opponents.

Obviously, McGregor hasn’t committed to any fight just yet but UFC president Dana White has stated that he hoped to see him face the winner of the upcoming UFC 223 main event between Nurmagomedov and interim champion Tony Ferguson.

Should Nurmagomedov win that fight, McGregor might want to brush up on his takedown defense and Snyder could be the perfect coach and training partner to get him ready.
