Nicolas Dalby Meets Philip Mulpeter At Cage Warriors 100
The historic Cage Warriors 100 fight card continues to take shape and the latest bout to be added to the card is a welterweight fight between Nicolas Dalby and Philip Mulpeter.
Dalby (15-3-1) has gone 1-1 since rejoining Cage Warriors but is coming off the back of an impressive win over Roberto Allegretti. The Dane famously fought UFC title challenger Darren Till to a draw in 2015, but unfortunately saw his UFC career cut short following losses to Zak Cummings and Peter Sobotta. Dalby will now be looking to put back-to-back wins together for the first time in three years when he faces the “Honeybadger” in December.
Mulpeter (9-5) has put together consecutive wins over Ali Arish and then Jan Quaeyhaegens at Cage Warriors 94 last June. The Irishman had to go through the fire against Quaeyhaegens in Antwerp, but he used all of his mental resolve to get the rear-naked choke submission in the third round to stun the Belgian crowd into silence. He will now be looking to put himself into Cage Warriors welterweight title contention when he faces Dalby in Cardiff.
Cage Warriors 100 will take place 0n Dec. 8 at the Ice Arena in Cardiff, Wales and will feature a main event of Jack Shore and Mike Ekundayo battling it out for the Cage Warriors bantamweight title.
With the likes of Paddy Pimblett and Joe McColgan also set feature, Dalby vs Mulpeter is joning a fight card that has all the potential to be the greatest Cage Warriors event of all time.
