Mike Perry Responds to Conor McGregor’s Criticism: We Can Fight in Bare-Knuckle
Mike Perry has had enough of Conor McGregor’s comments.
Last Saturday, Perry faced Jake Paul in a ten-round boxing match at Amalie Arena, Tampa. The fight didn’t go well for Perry, who was repeatedly knocked down before the match was stopped in the sixth round. Following the match, McGregor, a part-owner of BKFC, took to social media to mock Perry and his new “Dirty Boxing” promotion, claiming that Perry was “fired” from BKFC ?.
Perry’s Retort to McGregor
During the post-fight press conference, Perry didn’t hold back in his response to McGregor.
“He doesn’t f*cking have a promotion,” Perry said. “Me and him are both owners of BKFC, so he can’t fire me. We can fight in bare-knuckle. Look at me, I lost to Jake Paul. Why don’t you go fight Jake Paul in boxing with the gloves on? I think it would be worse than Conor McGregor vs. [Floyd] Mayweather.”
In tweets that were later deleted, McGregor insisted that Perry is not a significant owner in BKFC and suggested that Perry should focus on his own “Dirty Boxing” promotion.

Future Options for Perry
Despite the loss to Paul, Perry remains a major figure in BKFC and has several potential paths forward. He might return to BKFC, debut in his “Dirty Boxing Championship,” or even go back to MMA for a possible rematch with Paul in a different setting. Perry expressed interest in facing Paul in an MMA match, where his grappling and jiu-jitsu skills could come into play.
Taking a Break
Following the knockout defeat, Perry plans to take a break to recover.
“Just chill with the fam and get back in the gym when I can, try to take care of my body,” Perry said. He isn’t in a hurry to party and is focused on improving for future bouts.
When he returns, fans will be eager to see Perry’s next move, whether it’s in the ring, the cage, or another format entirely.
