Michael Bisping Handed 60-Day Medical Suspension Following Knockout Loss in China

Here are the medical suspensions for UFC Fight Night from Shanghai, China

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has been sidelined for the next 60 days after being handed a medical suspension following his first round knockout loss to Kelvin Gastelum in the main event at UFC Fight Night from Shanghai, China this past Saturday.

Bisping accepted the fight with Gastelum on two weeks notice after suffering a loss to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217 in New York. Following that loss, Bisping was given a 30 day medical suspension from the New York State Athletic Commission but he was later cleared and allowed to return early after additional testing was completed.

Now Bisping has been handed a 60-day suspension along with 45 days of no contact after he suffered a brutal knockout from Gastelum in the opening round of their fight.

UFC officials issued the medical suspensions via the official record keepers at MixedMartialArts.com.
