Mayweather vs. Logan Paul sold one million pay-per-view

One million people bought the PPV Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul

According to a person in the industry with knowledge who was not permitted to talk publicly, Showtime expects the exhibition boxing battle between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul to have generated one million pay-per-view buys.

Mayweather-Paul Bout Scores Roughly $50 Million in Pay-Per-View Buys

The fight’s pay-per-view cost $49.99, bringing in an estimated $50 million, according to the source.

Mayweather, the former champion, was part in three of the top four pay-per-view fights of all time, with his battle versus Manny Pacquiao in 2015 garnering a record 4.6 million buys.
According to Tapology, the Mayweather-Paul fight’s expected pay-per-view numbers would place it around 25th.

Principals involved with the Mayweather-Paul bout, according to the industry source, would be pleased with those figures, in part because the bout took place on a Sunday night and Paul was an unknown, having only competed in one pro bout prior to the exhibition versus Mayweather in Miami.
