Marc Diakiese Calls Out Sage Northcutt Following UFC Austin
Sage Northcutt is just a few hours departed from his win at UFC Austin and he already has another man at 155-pounds calling him out, Marc Diakiese.
Northcutt defeated Thibault Gouti via unanimous decision last evening at UFC Fight Night 126 in Austin, Texas after a close back and forth fight.
Gouti caught Northcutt with some big shots in rounds one and two and Northcutt looked as though he needed a finish in the final round to maintain his winning run. Northcutt did the better work in the round three, but he couldn’t get the finish and the fight went to the judges.
13/19 members of the media scored the fight to Gouti (per @MMADecisions), but nevertheless Northcutt was the man who got the nod 29-28 across all the cards.

Diakiese (12-2) is currently a two fight losing streak having suffered losses to Drakkar Klose and Dan Hooker. The former BAMMA lightweight champion opened up his UFC career with three wins with victories over ?ukasz Sajewski, Teemu Packalen and Frankie Perez.
