Luke Rockhold attacked by “zombie” junkie – viciously front kicked her

Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold has had a rough time in his career lately. Not only has he lost three out of his four latest bouts, he has also been knocked out viciously in all of his recent losses.

Now, it seems like trouble is following the 34-year-old American. In an interview with Submission Radio, Rockhold recalls a close encounter with a “zombie” drug addict on the streets of California.

Accordingly to the former UFC champion, he was out walking his dog on Santa Monica Boulevard when he saw a “strung out” woman:

“…I see this girl, like maybe thirty-ish. She was on the bus stop bench, and she looked bad. Like, homeless, something along those lines,” Luke Rockhold recalls.

“And she looked like… probably meth or something. Just nasty, nasty look, a lot of crap all over her [face], maybe some blood or something… She was super out of it.”

While Rockhold did not think much about it, he was later surprised by the same woman that proceeded to attack him.

“…she popped up out of nowhere and ran at me like some Zombie or something. It was wild. It was like the last thing I expected,” Rockhold continued

“She just jumped and started to run at me like ‘argh’ and she started hocking a loogie like she was gonna spit on me. Like, it was just like trying to scare me or infect me… I don’t know what she was on, but it didn’t look like anything I want to be around.”

Rockhold kicked his attacker

Needless to say, there are far better people to attack than a 191 centimeter tall former UFC champion.

Rockhold, who has not had a win since 2017, say that he acted instinctively and caught the woman with a powerful kick.

“I didn’t know what to do. And as it got close to me I just reared up with just a vicious front kick and just launched that thing in the air…”

“And the thing just went up, landed on the ground and literally like started quivering like a vampire frying in the sun or something. I was in awe of the situation. The thing was just quivering on the ground. I was like, what the hell just happened?”

Fortunately, Rockhold got out of the situation unscathed and went about his day with another crazy memory to tell.

This isn’t the first time Rockhold has made headlines recently. Despite UFC President Dana White arguing that Rockhold should retire from MMA, Rockhold seems dead set on returning to the cage.

He has set his sight on another former champion, the legendary Anderson “The Spider” Silva for his comeback fight.
