KNOCKOUT! Francis Ngannou wins in just 20 seconds at UFC 249!
Heavyweight star Francis Ngannou made it look easy at UFC 249, earning yet another first round knockout.
The French-based Cameroonian faced undefeated, fellow KO artist Jairzinho Rozenstruik on the main card in the UFC’s return. Widely seen as a number one contender bout, UFC president Dana White announced that the winner would get a shot at gold. Once heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier complete their trilogy, the winner at UFC 249 would get their shot. Ngannou wasted no time securing his title shot.

The two heavyweights engaged with Rozenstruik landing a few leg kicks early. Ngannou then blitzed his opponent missing several haymakers but landing a devastating left hook that sent Rozenstruik crashing to the ground. The fight was over as soon as Ngannou connected, at just 20 seconds into the first round.
Following the win, Ngannou expressed distress at the hold up at heavyweight, but he will surely have a hard time finding opponents after this win.
