UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals the ideal circumstances for his UFC return

UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is still undefeated after yet another successful title defence. At UFC 242 he took on interim champion Dustin Poirier and made it look easy. Nurmagomedov submitted the American in the third round without facing much adversity. While the exact circumstances for his UFC return are unclear, Nurmagomedov does have preferences.

Nurmagomedov’s manager Rizvan Magomedov revealed that the UFC champ is hoping for a return in February or March. Not only that, but he would prefer for his next title defence to be on home soil, and is hoping for the Gazprom Arena in St Petersburg.
