Josh Emmett vs. Jeremy Stephens Set as UFC on FOX 28 Main Event

The upcoming UFC card in Orlando finally has a main event

Just days after he knocked out Dooho Choi in St. Louis, Jeremy Stephens has booked another main event as he will face Josh Emmett in the new headline fight just announced for UFC on FOX 28 from Orland, Fla. on Feb. 24.

UFC officials confirmed the matchup via the Orlando Sentinel.

Stephens needed less than two rounds to dispatch of Choi with a spectacular TKO to notch his second win in a row in the featherweight division. Now the prolific knockout artist will face one of the fastest rising stars in the division when they clash in February.

Emmett was only one fight into his UFC featherweight career when he accepted a short notice fight against Ricardo Lamas last December but the gamble paid off as he knocked out the former title contender with a vicious first round knockout.

Now Emmett will step into his first UFC main event just over a month away as he faces Stephens in the headline fight for the upcoming FOX card from Orlando.
