UFC Star Jorge Masvidal offers to help out in Australia: “This is scary”

✅ Proceeds from the visit will go to the victims

UFC star Jorge Masvidal is on top of the world after ending 2019 with multiple Fighter of the Year and Knockout of the Year awards.

Without any fights booked, Masvidal is instead traveling the world and will be making a stop in Australia in February.

Sadly, Australia currently going through hell after experiencing heavy wild fires with over 20 confirmed deaths and hundreds of active fires continuing to spread across the country.

Knowing that he will soon land in Australia, Masvidal recently took to Twitter to say that he would like to help, both financially and physically:

“I’ll be in #Australia in February and would like to help,” Masvidal wrote.

“Proceeds from my visit will go to help but I also want to physically help put out the fires #theresurrection

“Gamebred” Masvidal is currently on a three-bout win streak where he has finished Darren Till, Ben Askren and Nate Diaz.

He currently sits on #3 in the welterweight ranking, with only the former champion Tyron Woodley and his former team mate Colby Covington above him.

Masvidal has been open with his intentions to face UFC superstar Conor McGregor in a welterweight bout, and is thus waiting for the outcome in the McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone fight that will take place on January 18, 2020 at UFC 246.

The 35-year-old American has also expressed interest in taking on Nate Diaz older brother Nick Diaz.
