Jon Jones shows off monstrous physique ahead of heavyweight debut
If there were any doubts about Jon Jones’ potential success at heavyweight, his new physique should certainly do much quell any such fears.
Jones vacated his light heavyweight title in August of this year, after having reigned atop the division for many years. While initially gunning for a bout with either feared knockout artist Francis Ngannou or the heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, no bout has been secured just yet. In fact, the UFC are less entused regarding Jones’ potential endevours at heavyweight.
UFC president Dana White recently addressed the matter, asked if he had been in talks with Jones.
“No, none. No talks with Jon Jones,” White said. “I don’t know if he’s getting ready. I don’t know what Jon Jones is doing. When he’s ready, all he’s gotta do is let us know. We have no inclination whatsoever that this guy’s coming to fight.”
Despite this, Jones is training intensely, preparing his body for the move to heavyweight, as can be seen in the videos below.

Jones hasn’t fought since his controversial win via split decision at UFC 247 over Dominick Reyes. Though many felt that that Reyes had done enough to win the first three rounds, though Jones was still the winner on two out of three of the judges’ score cards. While his past two title defences have been tightly contested, Jones has still defeated most of the top contendetrs in his division.
