Jason Knight injured – Bare Knuckle FC 7 loses main event!

✅ As former UFC fighter Jason Knight has been forced out of Bare Knuckle FC 7 - how will the promotion save the main event?

A strange combat sports success in recent months has been Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships, who have reached a type of MMA appeal. This has been done via the signing of many former UFC fighters, as well as flat out entertaining fights that are often as bloody and violent as they are thrilling. However now Jason Knight is injured, and Bare Knuckle FC 7 has taken a huge hit.

The event is scheduled for Aug. 10 in Biloxi, Mississippi, where Knight was expected to face fellow UFC veteran Leonard Garcia in the main event. Knight announced the injury via Twitter, stating that a rib injury was the culprit.

The promotion has not yet announced weather they will keep Garcia on the card and try to find a replacement, or what the coarse of action will be.

Knight has only competed once so far in BKFC, losing a decision to Artem Lobov at BKFC 5. It was considered one of  the most entertaining combat sports bouts of the year so far though, and is a true spectacle to behold. Garcia has also only fought once for the promotion, beating former TUF contestant Julian Lane via TKO in the second round.
