James Gallagher Headlines Bellator Dublin In February 2019
James Gallagher will headline Bellator MMA’s return to Dublin, Ireland next year on February 23.
The SBG Ireland man will take on Steven Graham (6-3) who will be making his promotional debut. The news was announced this morning via a press release.
Gallagher (7-1) last fought at Bellator 204 when he took on Ricky Bandejas on the undercard of the event in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Irishman was defeated for the first time in his career after Bandejas landed a side-kick to the face and then followed up with strikes as Gallagher lay on the mat. Prior to that loss, Gallagher had been fighting at 145-pounds and had put together a four-fight winning streak under the Bellator MMA banner with wins over the likes of Chinzo Machida, Kirill Medvedovski and Anthony Taylore.
Graham (6-3) will be fighting in the Bellator cage for the first time in his career next year when he faces Gallagher in his own backyard. The American is currently riding a five-fight win streak with wins over Johnnie Roades, Andrew Kimzey and Joseph Fulk in WalkoutFC. Graham also competed in Shamrock FC, Carden Combat Sports and KC Fighting Alliance before signing for Bellator.
No other fights have been announced for the card which will take place the 3 Arena in Dublin.
