Jake Paul Set for Bout Against Ryan Bourland in Puerto Rico
Jake Paul, the celebrity boxer, is officially scheduled to fight Ryan Bourland in a co-main event boxing match on March 2. The event will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico and will be broadcast live on DAZN. Known as “The Problem Child”, Paul has garnered attention from both boxing and MMA fans, following bouts with stars like Nate Diaz and Anderson Silva.
With a professional record of 8-1, his only loss being to Tommy Fury, Paul now sets his sights on becoming the world champion. His long-term goal is a showdown with Canelo Alvarez. However, before that, he plans to climb the ranks by facing lesser-known boxers. Paul’s notable wins include knockouts against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley and point victories over Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz. In his last fight, he impressively knocked out Andre August in the first round. His opponent, 35-year-old Ryan Bourland, comes with a winning streak of three and a record of 17-2.
The goal is simple, build the skillset to become world champion. Next up is a guy who has twice as many professional fights under his belt than I do. Ryan “The Rhino” Bourland. And just like the animal in his bone chilling nickname… he is also endangered😂😅
