Jorge Masvidal talks “super important” 2019 in hilarious, tipsy interview!
In the days leading up to UFC 246 in Las Vegas, Jorge Masvidal was available during media day. During the media scrum Masvidal invited the media on site to the official release party for his own brand of mezcal; Recuerdo. MMAnytt graciously joined other media outlets, sampled the mezcal, and then had the opportunity to interview Masvidal. The whole interview can be seen above.
The BMF title holder spoke to MMAnytt about his stellar 2019, where he lined up three straight T/KO wins. First he knocked out Englishman Darren Till in London, then he viciously finished Ben Askren in the fastest knockout in the history of the UFC at just five seconds. He then faced Nate Diaz at UFC 244 in a battle for the official BMF title in the UFC. Masvidal won the exciting fight via third round TKO.

Recently Masvidal got into an altercation with reigning welterweight champion Kamaru Usman at the Super Bowl media day. While they hardly even came close to trading blows, it could very well be a precursor to yet another chance for Masvidal to win a title in the UFC.
