Oh no – Did Henry Cejudo makes the cringiest promo ever?

✅ Henry Cejudo calls out the former champion

Henry Cejudo is definitely taking a page out of Colby Covington‘s playbook, but is it working?

The reigning champion of the UFC’s Bantamweight and Flyweight division recently released his newest magnum opus “King of Rio,” where he called out the former featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo:

Henry Cejudo thought Jose Aldo won

Aldo made his bantamweight debut at last weekend’s UFC 245 where he fought the #1 contender Marlon Moraes.

Despite putting on an impressive performance against one of the division’s most accomplished fighters, two judges still gave the victory to Moraes.

Aldo’s split decision loss did not sit well with the crowd that booed when “Magic” Moraes was announced the winner.

UFC President Dana White also said that he had Aldo as the winner, and in an interview after UFC 245 White mentioned that Cejudo already had reached out to him and told him he wants to fight Aldo in his next title defense.

“Yeah, [Aldo] won the fight. Listen, you cannot win a fight running backwards for two rounds, it doesn’t work that way,” Dana White said about Moraes’ performance at UFC 245.

“I don’t know what fuck those judges were watching man. To give that to Marlon is crazy.”

“Cejudo hit me up tonight and said: ‘Jose Aldo absolutely won that fight, and I think you should treat him like he won that fight.’ He said: ‘I want Jose Aldo.'”

Cejudo is currently on a five-bout win streak after finishing Moraes at UFC 238 in June, 2019.

He is currently out of competition because of a shoulder injury, but it looks like the UFC will be putting together Cejudo vs. Aldo in 2020.

“Awesome. What would I say to that? I’m not going to say no,” White said about Cejudo’s call out of Aldo.
