FULL FIGHT VIDEO: Khamzat Chimaev defeats Jack Hermansson
Khamzat Chimaev, a rising welterweight UFC star, won a freestyle wrestling match against UFC middleweight contender Jack Hermansson on Friday evening. Bulldog Fight Night 9 in Gothenburg, Sweden, featured the two UFC fighters as the main event. With two three-minute rounds, the match was contested at 187 pounds.
The night featured a mix of boxing, Thai Boxing and MMA fights, as well as a caged freestyle wrestling bout between Chimaev and Hermansson in the main event.

Chimaev (10-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) defeated veteran Li Jingliang by submission at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 30. The unbeaten Chechen fighter is widely regarded as one of the UFC’s most promising young contenders.
Hermansson (22-6 MMA, 9-4 UFC) last competed in May at UFC Fight Night 188. Via an unanimous decision, he defeated Edmen Shahbazyan. In his last four UFC fights, he’s gone 2-2.
