Despite the ongoing pandemic, it looks like next weekend will deliver a UFC card. UFC president Dana White has secured an arena in Jacksonville, Florida, where UFC 249 will go down. While the event showcases two title fights, plenty of fans are excited about a heavyweight battle slated for the main card. Undefeated Jairzinho Rozenstruik will take on former title challenger Francis Ngannou – Who will enter the bout with a more monstrous physique than usual.
In a post on Instagram, just a little over a week out from his UFC return, Ngannou is shown to be in incredible shape.

Born in Cameroon but fighting out of France, Ngannou has quickly become one of the most popular and dangerous fighters in the heavyweight division. The Cameroonian got a tough start to 2018 when he lost to Stipe Miocic in his bid to win the heavyweight title, and was later defeated by Derrick Lewis – both losses via decision. Ngannou got back on track, TKO’ing Curtis Blaydes in a rematch from their 2016 bout which the former also won. He then lined up back-to-back KO’s of former UFC champs Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos.
Ngannou has a tough task ahead of him though, taking on undefeated Jairziniho Rozenstruik from Surinam. Since his UFC debut last year he has had time to finish four straight opponents via T/KO, most recently Andrei Arlovski and Alistair Overeem. The heavyweight clash at UFC 249 could very well produce the next title challenger.
