Four Fights Added To Bellator 200 Including The Debuts Of Saul Rogers And Daniel Crawford
Saul Rogers will make his Bellator debut on May 25 when he takes on Jeremy Petley at Bellator 200.
MMAJunkie were first to the report the addition of four bouts to the fight card last evening.
Rogers (12-2) was a former contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 22 season and won his way through to the final before being removed from the competition following a visa issue. The Brit has fought three times since then with wins over Andre Winner and Michel Adalena. He lost his last bout back in March 2017 when he was defeated by late replacement Aurel Pirtea at ACB 54. Rogers suffered a series of injuries in that bout including a broken arm which has kept him sidelined for over a year
The Brit will now return when he takes on Petley (12-8-1) in London. The Canadian is currently riding a two fight win streak with wins over Lewis Monarch and Chase Morton under the Bellator banner.
Another Brit making his Bellator debut next month will be the former BAMMA featherweight champion Daniel Crawford. The 24-year-old won the 145-pounds BAMMA title last Sept. when he defeated Damien Lapilus at BAMMA 31.
Crawford will now take on Pedro Carvalho (6-3) who trains out of SBG Ireland under head coach John Kavanagh. Carvalho will also be making his Bellator debut and is coming off three wins on the Irish domestic scene.
Also added to the card, Kevin Fryer (6-2) will take on Costello van Steenis (9-1), whilst Vladimir Filipovic (10-2) faces Anatoly Tokov (25-2) in middleweight action.
