Fighters react to Dana White & cancelled UFC 249: “Can I eat pizza now?”

UFC 249 has without a doubt been one of the most controversial MMA events in history and has taken both fighters and fans on an emotional rollercoaster. After countless twists and turns, the ride has finally come to a stop as the top bosses at Disney, who owns UFC’s broadcast partner ESPN, decided to pull the plug.

It was later revealed that the Governor of California was influential in the decision making.

Even though this current scenario had became more and more likely for each day, many still had high hopes, especially since UFC President Dana White worked tirelessly to make the event happen.

Now, the decision is final and the many fighters and fans that were hoping or UFC 249 to take place on April 18 are sharing their thoughts on social media.

Many are venting their frustration over a missed opportunity and vigorous training for nothing, while other praise White for his actions.
