EA UFC 4 video came stirs up controversy: “This should be…”
Before even having been revealed, the cover to the coming video game EA UFC 4 has caused controversy. The MMA game is slated for release late this year, and the cover will be revealed during UFC 251 on July 11th. It is upon that reveal that the fighters who will grace the cover will be unveiled. Thus far the sports biggest names such as Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor and Jon Jones have graced the cover of the popular MMA game.
So what has caused a stir over this seemingly harmless video game? It should, however, come as no surprise that much of the source of the critique is a controversial character himself: Ali Abdelaziz, manager to Khabib Nurmagomedov and Kamaru Usman amongst others.
While it has not been officially announced who will appear on the cover to the new game, Abdelaziz claims to know, and he is decidedly not pleased with it supposedly not being Nurmagomedov. Rumours seem to suggest that middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and BMF champion Jorge Masvidal will be the two fighters to appear on the cover.

Abdelaziz addressed this in a post on Twitter.
This should be the new cover
This man never lost
I know who will be on the new cover
One is good but another has a double digit loses
EA sports people sucks @TeamKhabib pic.twitter.com/9byCV9TcMY— Ali Abdelaziz (@AliAbdelaziz00) June 20, 2020
“This should be the new cover,” Abdelaziz wrote, posting a fan-made cover featuring Nurmagomedov. “This man never lost I know who will be on the new cover One is good but another has a double digit loses EA sports people sucks.”
While the cover of the EA UFC 4 video game should not be a source of controversy, there are fair points to be made in regards to who is most deserving of it. Nurmagomedov is undefeated and has smashed all competition thus far in the UFC.
