Justin Gaethje’s Prediction for Dustin Poirier’s UFC 299 Clash!

Gaethje Weighs In on Poirier's Critical Test

The stage is set for an electrifying showdown at UFC 299 on March 9th. Dustin Poirier, with a record of 28-7, is gearing up for his highly-anticipated return. His opponent, rising star Benoit Saint-Denis (9-0), is primed for the biggest fight of his career. Poirier, still reeling from his knockout loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 291, faces a crucial test.

In a recent interview with Kevin Iole, Gaethje weighed in on the matchup. “It’s a crazy sport,” he began, acknowledging Saint-Denis’s skill and potential. Gaethje compared the bout to his own experience facing Rafael Fiziev. He described Saint-Denis as a dangerous and hungry talent, capable of an upset.

Justin Gaethje: “It’s a crazy sport. I absolutely think Saint-Denis can win. He’s skilled enough.”

Gaethje: “It’s a similar situation as when I faced Fiziev. A young, confident talent against a veteran.”
